S3 Ep2: Jamie Chadwick - " I definitely think it’s possible. I hope it’s me. “

Monday Mile with Aimee Fuller - Ein Podcast von Monday Mile - By Aimee Fuller - Montags

In today's episode I head to one of my favourite roads in West London, Pavillion road, to meet a Racing car driver, who has just made history.  She’s fresh back from the last race of the season having just defended her W series Championship tittle, it's Jamie Chadwick. She also races in the Extreme E and is the only female in F1 as a development driver for Williams Racing. We discuss the forward moving direction of Women's sport, what it takes to drive with the World's elite in the Extreme E, and the mark she wants to leave on the World of racing. She's super chilled and humble and has firmly got her eyes on the progression of the sport -  Oh and that roast in the Cadagon Arms! ;)  Aimee will be probing for answers from the full spectrum of routines; the early birds who have finely tuned Monday mornings, to the late risers who struggle to get up before 11am. How do elite athletes find the motivation to kick start their week come rain or shine? How do celebrities deliver no matter what the time of day? What knowledge can they pass on? Each episode drops on a Monday morning and plays out in real time. Aimee will meet each of her guests for a walk and a chat and over the course of the mile she will find out how they cope on a Monday morning - their idiosyncrasies, breakfast routines, alarm noises - and how, when they need to, find the motivation to kick-on through the week.  Dropping every Monday as a bitesize piece of content and weekly dose of motivation - right when you need it - sharing some of Britain's greatest athletes’ secrets on self-motivation, candid thoughts on what they struggle with and a sideways look at some of their more unusual morning habits.  Head over to IG to watch the visuals of our episode and what we get up to on our Monday Mile. https://www.instagram.com/aimee_fuller/   Filmed and Edited by Jack Holmes.
