EP 62 - Sacrifices of a working mum and the stigma of staying at home

It's a hard complex for mothers - we give birth and were either forced to go back to work or in some cases stay at home.   Should mothers return to work or should they be the home makers ensuring that their children are cared for ?   The Office of National Statistics wrote "In April to June 2019, three in four mothers with dependent children (75.1%) were in work in the UK. This compared with 92.6% of fathers with dependent children. The number of mothers in the labour market has grown substantially over the last 20 years, with 66.2% of mothers in employment in 2000".   Did you have any issues returning to work? Would you prefer to be at home?
