Try to replace negative thoughts with positive ones. Repeat affirmations. Stop and ask yourself often, “Do you want to be happy?” Then act like it. Think like it. Think thoughts of gratitude, kindness and love. Create a one word thought replacer, or a thought interrupter to jolt you back to You, like “banana split.” If you’re really stuck, focus your attention on how to be of service to help someone else.
