When it comes to your health, there is so much more at stake than just your weight. It’s about getting more out of your life and more into your life. Live your authentic agenda that prioritizes your emotions and feelings, social life and connections, and authentic physical health.   Get More Into Your Life For your authentic agenda For your thoughts For your emotions For your connection and what you need socially For your authentic body   The Importance of Emotional Processing When you think of anger, you probably think of negative emotions that you shouldn’t feel. I’d like to spin that; anger is a healthy emotion that is important to recognize in your body. When you recognize your body’s anger response, you can examine the crossed boundary and decide on a more appropriate response. This is just one of the reasons why you must learn to feel your feelings. When you push them aside, ignore them, or otherwise avoid your feelings and emotions, you’re more likely to eat or engage in other forms of emotional distraction.  Emotional processing isn’t always easy, but it’s important for your health and well-being. Again, your health is so, so much more than weight loss.   Social Connection and Physical Health Your health also includes your social life and connections. Ask yourself how you want to connect. What are you looking to get out of connecting? You will improve your health by honoring what you actually want out of your social life and community. It’s all about creating environments that add to your current situation. Finally, your physical health is also so much more than weight loss. Weight loss might be a component of your physical health, but it’s not all there is – and it will take longer than you expect when you lose weight authentically.  It really comes down to defining your primary goal and realistic steps to get there.
