24,819 houses sold (stc) in the UK last week, the best week for UK house sales since early of September 2022. Yes, week ending 2nd April 2023 (Week 13 of 2023) was the best week for sales agreed ... and that isn't a flash in pan either! The week before (Week 12 was the best week for sales since Sept ‘22, as was Week 11 before, as was Week 10, Week 9 and Week 8) The average weekly sale agreeds for last 4 weeks for 23,934 per week. 'Sale Fall Throughs' increased ever so slightly by 3.49% (4,897 fall thrus last week to 5,068 fall thrus this week) Yet because of the increase in sales the fall thru 20.42% For comparison, the average for Q1 2023 has been 24.9%, the average for Q4 2022 was 38.7% and long-term 7-year weekly average is 24.26%. Listings remain strong at 34,549 for the week (Q1 2023 average at 31,116 per week). The podcast is for Estate Agents, Letting Agents, and people who love the property market.
