The Art of Conversation: Conversation topics with Arty Anglais: My favourite Season

The Art of Conversation is a series of short 5-10 minutes episodes where I answer conversation topics from the Conversation Starters World website: I use this very often in my 1:1 English conversation classes with my students. This is to help give you some ideas about how a native speaker might answer questions. Each week I'll try to include in my natural speech different examples of grammar points, expressions and idioms. In this episode I'll answer one question: What is your favourite Season and Why? I've also been talking about Seasons in my classes so I shared some of the artwork we've been working on in class. This week I also shared examples of when to use certain prepositions with verbs and how to use them. I tried to use a few in today's episode so you can see how I use them. Look out for examples of: choose from think about reminds me of forgotten about influenced bygiving to attribute tochoose from agree with prepare for prefer to Some expressions I used: the norm - normal or usual it would have to be - it's definitely the ultimate - the best think back to/ remember back to - remember an event the thing is, right - can also mean (in my opinion) don't get me wrong - said when you think someone might not understand what you say Find the video of this episode on the Arty Anglais YouTube Channel.
