In this episode, Rosa and Cat discuss three Netflix television shows that represent a variety of Latinx representation that is not only universal, but also hits  close to home.  "Rompan todo: La historia del rock en América Latina" (2020) Soda Stereo, Café Tacvba, Aterciopelados and other rock bands are featured in this chronicle of 50 years of rock and roll in Latin America, through dictatorships, disasters and dissent. "Julie and the Phantoms" (2020) Teenager Julie finds her passion for music and life while helping the Phantoms, a trio of ghostly guys, become the band they were never able to be. "Gentefied" (2020) In Los Angeles, three Mexican-American cousins chase the American Dream, even while that dream threatens the things they hold most dear, including their neighborhood, their immigrant grandfather and the family-owned taco shop.
