Ruth Cooper-Dickson lives in the UK and used to drink a lot when she went out. Networking in the corporate world was always easier with a few drinks under her belt, but her passion for running marathons kept her drinking somewhat in check. It was back to back events which involved her emptying out her purse to a complete stranger that had Ruth asking the question, 'should I give up drinking?' So she did.
