Það er gestastjórnandinn og hjúkrunarfræðingurinn Holly Gumz sem leiðir syrpuna og henni til halds og trausts eru Stefán Hrafn Hagalín og Ásvaldur Kristjánsson hjá samskiptadeild Landspítala. Í þennan fyrsta þátt af How Do You Like Iceland? fékk Holly samlanda sína dr. Daniel Salter (sem er þó upphaflega frá Bretlandi) og Söru Cervantes. Öll þrjú starfa þau sem hjúkrunarfræðingar hjá Landspítala: Holly á heila-, tauga- og bæklunarskurðdeild B6 í Fossvogi, Daniel á sýkingavarnadeild við Hringbraut og Sara á öldrunarlækningadeildum Landakots. Forvitnast er um bakgrunn þremenninganna, hvers vegna þau völdu hjúkrunarfræði sem nám og starfsvettvang, ástæður þess að þau fluttu til Íslands, hvernig þeim líkar vinnustaðurinn, viðtökurnar hér og íslenskt samfélag almennt. ENGLISH: For this episode of the Landspítali (University Hospital of Iceland) podcast we're having nurse Holly Gumz as co-host and she's going to interview her fellow Americans Daniel Salter (originally from the UK though) and Sara Cervantes. All three of them work at Landspítali as nurses. Holly on the neurosurgical and orthopedic ward B6, Daniel in the infection control department and Sara is a community health and geriatrics nurse at the Landakot geriatric rehabilitation unit. The three of them discuss their background, reasons for moving to Iceland, the workplace and people at Landspítali, how they're adapting into the Icelandic society as well as answering the inevitable most perennial Icelandic question of all times: How do you like Iceland?
