The mandatory seven-day isolation period after a positive Covid test could soon be a thing of the past. Cabinet ministers are today considering whether to ease Covid rules, with an announcement expected some time this week. The Prime Minister says it's a careful balancing act between the impact of people being unable to go to work, and the impact of Covid spreading.
