Interpretation Matters

This week we listen to a portion of a Roundtable Talk with Dr. Marc Zvi Brettler and Dr. Amy-Jill Levine about their book Reading the Bible(s) With and Without Jesus. Language matters. The cultural associations with words matter. So with so much interpretation happening, which is more important, the biblical text or the interpretations of the text?
