#118: Emma Kane – CEO of Newgate communications

Emma is an entrepreneur and highly experienced charity trustee. She specialises in creating positive change through communications, an industry in which she has over 30 years’ experience. Today she is Chief Executive of Newgate Communications, part of the international communications group, SEC Newgate on whose board she also sits as Deputy Group CEO. Her clients include business leaders, household brands and international organisations. She is Chair of the UK’s largest ovarian cancer charity, Target Ovarian Cancer, and of Europe’s largest multi arts centre, the Barbican Centre Trust; she is also a board member of the Elton John AIDS Foundation.Outside her business and philanthropic interests, Emma is an avid sculptor and passionate about jazz and opera; she started out life as a tenor saxophonist.
