Inequality Interviews: Degrowth with Halliki Kreinin

In this episode, Elise interviews Halliki Kreinin on degrowth economics - an alternative school of economics which prioritizes the socio-ecological well-being of society and the planet over corporate profit, excessive consumption and over-production. We discuss how inequality is conceptualized within the framework of degrowth and how this conception comes into direct conflict with the narrative of mainstream economics. We close by exploring degrowth policies aimed at fighting global inequality.   Recorded and edited by: Elise Andrew Music by: Cole B. @ https://soundcloud.com/colbylight   For more from Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke, Aarhus: https://www.ms.dk/mellemfolk https://www.facebook.com/msaarhus https://www.instagram.com/mellemfolkeligtsamvirke_aarhus/
