He was a movie journalist for 20 years in Brazil. His debut novel "Filhos do Fim do Mundo" was awarded best novel of the year in Brazil, in 2013. He teaches two online creative writing class and hosts a writing podcast called "Gente Que Escreve", both in Brazilian Portuguese. As a translator, he has worked with Neil Gaiman and George Martin, and dozens of Netflix movies and shows. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two kids.
