Lunar eclipse graces night skies; 'Portraits of Valor'

Overnight, there is a near-total lunar eclipse that will be visible — weather permitting — across North America. It will be the longest lunar eclipse in almost 600 years, lasting for a few hours from start to finish. Sky & Telescope senior editor Kelly Beatty tells us all about it.
