Feb. 19, 2022, marks 80 years since President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066 and authorized the forced internment of more than 100,000 people of Japanese descent living on the West Coast. Fred Korematsu chose to defy the order. His daughter Karen Korematsu, founder and executive director of the Fred T. Korematsu Institute, joins us to reflect on his legacy.
