Catherine returns to Arkansas to investigate the death of Janie Ward. Janie died mysteriously in 1989 at a party at a cabin on the backroads of Marshall, Arkansas. Catherine meets journalist Mike Masterson, who has written over 200 articles about Janie, along with Janie's mom, Mona, and her sister, Krystal.
