heliumTALK #10: Rune Christensen (english edition)

In the 10th episode of our podcast, Jörg speaks with the danish artist Rune Christensen. Coming from a background in Graffiti, Rune Christensen developed a very unique and distinct style and color code for his figurative paintings and drawings. His main inspiration roots in his extensive travelling to remote corners of the world, and you can see this in the often traditional textures and layers he applies and translates into his own visual urban language. Here at heliumcowboy we value and exhibit Rune's artwork, but also his taste in art and his understanding of new contemporary positions and the vision of modern art today. That is why we joined forces and together with gallery manager Melvin Heikhaus we selected a great bunch of artists to present in a group exhibition called CRISP - artists that share this vision with us and who we believe are taking art on to a new level, like Angela Fox, Jordy Kerwick, Peter Birk, Jay Olé, David Shillinglaw, Samuel Bassett, Will Barras, Jens Rausch, Ben Venom, Fabian Wolf, Julien Deiss, Winnie Truong and Rasmus Rinhack.
