036. Divisiveness is Lazy

Heaven & Healing Podcast - Ein Podcast von Heaven & Healing Podcast

Divisiveness is lazy because it requires nothing of us. When we are incapable of seeing another’s viewpoint as valid, or refuse to hold space for someone else in conflict, or cannot offer acceptance of another’s belief, or do not appreciate the sovereignty of our fellow sentient human being… Then we negate ourselves the opportunity to learn, expand, align or ever truly experience the embodiment of Christ Consciousness, because we are only willing to look through the myopic lens of egoic judgement. We are living in times where “”World Leaders”” are referring to other living, breathing human-beings as a “pandemic,” where it is being celebrated that jobs are being lost and people are losing the means to put food on the table, where innocent people are being told they cannot see family, where spiritual guides are being imprisoned for keeping places of worship open to the community, where reputations are being tarnished and intellect is mocked of those who have questions or go against the grain of the mainstream narrative, where people are being censored and silenced for speaking their mind or speaking of God… and in all of this, YOU are being encouraged to see the world from the perspective of “Us VS Other” rather than simply Us. And it’s working. More than ever, we are seeing friends turn against each other, families splitting up, relationships dissolving — all due to disagreement of personal choice, personal faith, and personal worldview. Where is the love in that?Where is the truth in that?Where is the unity in that?Nowhere to be found. And that’s the point: separate and conquer. In this episode, I talk about how if we were to see everyone else through the eyes of Christ, we would have compassionate hearts, open ears, open arms, and a willingness to fight for ALL — rather than only a select few that our manipulated ego deems acceptable. Remember, it is not your duty to judge another. It is not your job to decide who is worthy and who is not. It Is not your job to determine who can say or do whatever. It is, however, your duty in God to love your neighbor. Love is unconditional - it knows no bounds. That means we honor and accept our fellow human-being in empathy, grace, compassion and understanding. And to do that requires vulnerability, willingness to be wrong, a humbling of our ego, and the courage to stand tall for what is divinely just. Make no mistake - this is, indeed, a challenge. The enemy makes the temptation of division so enticing, because it inflates our ego and sense of self. It is difficult to say no to the societal & peer pressure to pit everyone against each other — but it is possible, and it is so necessary in this time. So when you find yourself triggered by another’s choices or beliefs, start asking yourself: If I were to see this person through the eyes of Jesus Christ, how would that change things for me in this moment? Notice how the answer is always the same: lean into love. Fight for ALL. Even those you disagree with. Find me on Instagram if you haven’t already: @angelamarieucci Until next time.
