On October 17, 1973, Falkville Alabama Chief of Police Jeff Greenhaw was out investigating a call about a UFO sighting when he took four Polaroid photos of a metal clad figure he saw standing in the middle of a dark country road. He chased the creature in his patrol car, but the it moved so fast that it outran him and it vanished in the night. After the photos were published, Greenhaw's life was ruined because of doubts about his story. But today, many believe the photos are genuine.
