Ep 16 Rory Bremner - Chameleon, Comedian and Impressionist

After a careers advisor told him he should be a merchant banker, Rory decided to follow the laughter after finishing university. Influenced by his father, Mike Yarwood, Dave Allen, Dick Emery and the local Edinburgh festival in his early career, Rory started doing political impressions. This led to BBC series before moving to Channel 4 with “Bremner, Bird and Fortune”. He has also been a TV regular on “Whose line is it Anyway” and “Mock the Week” as well as quiz shows and presenting documentaries. Rory talks about being a chameleon: translating opera, performing on the West End, and the process behind his famous impressions.#greatwaveofchangeInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/greatwaveofchange/Twitter - https://twitter.com/greatwavechgFacebook - https://www.facebook.com/greatwaveofchangeWebsite - https://greatwaveofchange.com/Thank you to our sponsors Speakerbus and Hampden & Co Bank. Great Wave of Change podcast is produced by Genevieve Sulway from Salty Paradise Productions.
