Geektown Radio 403: Solar Opposites, Time, Beckham, MCM Comic-Con, Plus TV News & UK Air Dates!

After a little hiatus last week, we are finally back with a new episode of the Geektown Radio podcast, and I'm joined by our "film reviewer" Gray to chat about the latest TV shows, films, and video games.Gray, of course, has not got any films to review this week, but in fairness, he does have some big personal news which has been distracting him! He does, however, have a LOT of TV shows to review, one of which even involves football! This week he discusses the return of 'Solar Opposites', completing both 'Ghosts' UK and USA versions, and watching Netflix's 'Beckham' docuseries (in his defence, it does also involve a Spice Girl...) He also reviews BBC's 'The Reckoning', Sky's 'Never Mind The Buzzcocks'. and season four of 'Breeders'. Meanwhile, I catch you up with all things MCM Comic-Con from London last week, along with previewing episode one of 'The Lazarus Project' Season 2, along with reviewing the end of 'Billions', 'Star Trek: Lower Decks', and 'Gen V'.Moving onto the news, we begin with all the renews, cancellations and pick-ups, of which there are quite a few, including 'Superman & Lois', 'Chapelwaite' and an entire streaming service getting canned! We also catch up on the latest with the SAG-AFTRA strike; Discuss the return of ‘Doctor Who'; The state of the MCU; What is going on with ‘Yellowstone‘; The possible return of 'Prison Break'; And how everything has changed for 'Daredevil: Born Again' (again!).Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/geektown.
