Episode 33: Christmas Traditions That Last The Ages

Christmas is such a wonderful time of years. I loved it as a child and even believed in Santa. As I grew I felt like it lost a lot of the meaning in the commercialism yet to stay grounded I liked to focus on the few things that don’t have to change. I love being with family and playing games. My family played a game where we would have to unwrap a set of boxes with oven mitts. My wife family often sings Christmas carols on Christmas eve together, then gathers at mom and dads for the annual gift exchange Christmas day. For me I think I have found a new joy in Christmas as I watched my son wake up on Christmas morning and see his presents. For me it all comes back to family and the spirit of giving not just of toys and things, but of our love time and presence. I took 4 days off and turned off the social media and choose to really get connected with my family.
