Series 2, Episode 2 - Cpl. JV Byrne
In the second episode of this series we look at the escape of Cpl. JV Byrne. A member of the SAS when captured, he made several attempts to escape, eventually making his way to Stockholm, after a stint in Stalag Luft III, before finishing the war as part of the Allied invasion forces. Sadly our presenter, Dave Harrison, passed away from Covid last year, so this episode, as well as all the episodes in this series, is dedicated to him.
