10/10/22 - Pollution rules delayed, International Trade.

Farming Today - Ein Podcast von BBC Radio 4

New rules aimed at reducing agricultural pollution in rivers in Wales are being delayed by the Welsh Government for three months. The introduction of an all-Wales nitrate vulnerable zone is opposed by farming unions and opposition parties. Campaign group the Welsh Rivers Union, tell us the delay is disappointing, and hope this is not a sign the policy is being pushed into the long grass. And as we begin a week looking at international trade we speak to the head of Copa-Cogeca, the strongest interest group representing European farmers, about how trade has been affected since the UK left the European Union.
