Kataklysm is a Canadian death metal band founded in Montreal in 1991. Vocalist and bassist Maurizio Iacono joined the band in 1998, and immediately had an impact on the musical direction of the band. Throughout their 20+ year career the band has stood for consistency and has expanded their audience to span the whole globe. Their 2015 album 'Of Ghost and Gods' even won them a Juno Award for best metal album.
