Dimmu Borgir - Silenoz (2023)

Silenoz (Sven Atle Kopperud) is a guitarist and founding member of Norwegian symphonic metal band Dimmu Borgir. Their brand of symphonic black metal, through albums like 'Enthrone Darkness Triumphant (1997) and Spiritual Black Dimensions (1999), established them as one of the biggest bands in the genre. We spoke with Silenoz about the album 'Inspiratio Profanus,' a collection of all of the covers they have done in the past. We also spoke about how he got into metal, broadening his musical horizon, learning from covers, writing new music, fan expectations, and a lot more! Interview by: Robin HignellSupport the showThank you for listening!
