The Berne Podcast with Dr. Sam Berne - Ein Podcast von Dr. Sam Berne - Holistic Eye Health

This episode answers questions related to cataracts, myopia, MSM Drops, eye protocols for children, and herpetic keratitis. Question 1 0:47 - 9:55 I want to know if I am on the right track. It is strange that my left eye can't focus close up and is blurry. My right eye is blurry in the distance but clear up close.  I just had some dental work on the right front teeth. Could dental surgery and eyesight be related? I keep myself fit by lifting weights, practicing Yoga, and I have improved my general health dramatically.  But then I was told I have the beginnings of cataracts. After a great deal of research, I am interested in taking an DMSO eye drop to dissolve the cataract. Do you feel DMSO is safe to use on the eyes used like this and what would you suggest? Question 2 9:55 - 16:08 Hello, Dr. Sam!  I found your videos and thought maybe you can help me too, specifically my child who has high myopia and is only 12 years old. Can you please advise me any way to slow down or stop it?  Also, what do you think about acupressure or acupuncturist for that purpose? Thank you.” Question 3 16:08 - 19:21 Can you please tell me if your MSM drops can enter the anterior chamber of the eye in humans? Thank you. Question 4 19:21 - 29:42 I would like to know if the protocol you list on your website for nearsightedness is advisable for children? My daughter's condition is alarmingly increasing; she was diagnosed -1.75 at six years old and now that she is eleven and she has just been measured at -6 and -7. We followed the advice of wearing ortho-k lenses at nighttime to stop progression, but it has not worked at all, and she now refuses to wear them. We have several books about yoga for the eyes, and others, but I cannot find clear protocols to follow. Could you kindly advice about your protocol and how could it practised to get sound results? Thank you very much. Question 5 29:42 - 36:52 When I was 5 years old I had herpetic keratitis which left on the center of my pupils on the left eye a small cicatrice (blister, scar tissue, wound). When years later been in military services in Romania because of rough outdoor exposure, the herpetic keratitis returned, and I was treated by a doctor who specializes in corneal transplants. Maybe you know something about it because all the time my vision with the left eye was disturbed. I will appreciate if you can email to me a suggestion! Thank you.
