The Berne Podcast with Dr. Sam Berne - Ein Podcast von Dr. Sam Berne - Holistic Eye Health

This podcast answers questions related to epiretinal membrane, the difference between sublingual glutathione and liposomal glutathione, and fluid production in the eyes when diagnosed with glaucoma. Question 1 0:00 - 14:01 Hello Dr. Berne, I was diagnosed with ERM in late October (53-year-old female). At my last visit in December 2018, my vision was still at 20/40. I have been going for acupuncture treatments as well as using supplements. The risks of vitrectomy seems too great. I know that ocriplasmin is not the go-to for this, but I do wonder if it would be a logical next step? What else can I do? Thank you! Question 2 14:01 - 18:48 Dr. Berne, I would like to know if taking EDTA once per week can help dissolve cataracts? Thank you. Question 3 18:48 - 25:08 I was wondering how the sublingual glutathione differs from the liposomal glutathione? Question 4 25:08 - 29:31 Hi, Dr. Sam. In December of 2017, I was told that I had signs of low-tension glaucoma. How is it determined if I need to 1) increase the fluid drainage out of my eye, or 2) decrease the production of fluid in my eye? Would it be best to start with your MSM 5% drops or your MSM 15% drops? How many drops in each eye should I administer? I plan on telling the glaucoma doctor that I am taking your MSM drops in both eyes. Should I first take your MSM drops for a couple months to see if my pressure drops before I begin any other medication?
