The Berne Podcast with Dr. Sam Berne - Ein Podcast von Dr. Sam Berne - Holistic Eye Health

This episode answers questions related to reversing early-stage cataracts, dry-eye, how long it takes to see eye health improvement, retinitis pigmentosa, and blue-light. Question 1 0:00 - 9:07 My questions are this: I have allergies in my eyes. There's the itchiness but what's even worse is what I call, stringy things that must be mucous that get stuck in my eyes and I am desperate to know if there's something that can reduce this? The other question is regarding cataracts. I have them in both eyes and I am needing surgery although am putting it off. I eat organic foods that are great for eye health. Is there any of Dr. Berne's products that can reduce cataracts and eliminate the need for surgery? Question 2 9:07 - 14:51 Hi Dr. Berne: I am looking for some eye drops to improve my dry eye. I just found out about the MSM drops. How long should I use them to see improvement? My left eye is the only one that gets symptoms of dry eye. I wear one day contacts and have issues with dry eye when I have them on. Are there contacts that you recommend? Thanks so much! Question 3 14:51 - 20:57 My daughter was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa about a year ago. She is 18 years old. We're interested in doing everything we can to stop progression. What supplements of yours would you recommend? We don’t have the results of her genetic testing yet, so I am hesitant on Vitamin A therapy. She currently takes lutein, turmeric, krill oil and can-c eye drop. I'd like to get her on a really solid protocol, as directed by someone with knowledge of all of this though. Thanks for any help. Question 4 20:57 - 22:27 I have a question sparked by one of Dr Sam’s videos: When he says to use blue blocking glasses when using a computer, etc., does he mean all the time, or just at night? Most of the people who recommend this say that you need blue light during the day. I forget which hormone it stimulates, but I think it could be melatonin. Therefore, you use blue light blocking glasses or the app I have on my computer & iPhone that takes the blue wave out only at night. But, he sounds like he means all the time. I’d like clarification, and an explanation would be welcome, too. Thanks. Question 5 22:27 - 26:27 Hello, I’m 66 and have been diagnosed with early-stage cataracts. I have Hashimoto's, SIBO/IBS, MCS, fibromyalgia, etc. Any recommendations?
