Podcast 27: Community Q&A

The Berne Podcast with Dr. Sam Berne - Ein Podcast von Dr. Sam Berne - Holistic Eye Health

Question 1: 00:00 - 8:56: I have macular pucker and have tried your MSM drops. I am concerned about my eyes. What should I do? Question 2: 8:56 - 18:58: My husband is a police officer and was hit by a fleeing suspect's car while working on his bike in October. He had a craniotomy on the right side and in December had the bone flap put back in place, but then needed a shunt inserted, and subsequently had two seizures. Right now he's doing really well considering the severity of his injury. He communicates with us, asks tons of questions about the accident, time, etc., laughs, jokes around, is starting to stand with minimal help. He can't process information about the accident quite yet, but his short-term memory has not fully recovered yet. Vision is a huge part of this. He has a blood clot in his right eye which makes it very hard to see from the right side. He can see from a specific point on the left side, but his peripheral vision is pretty much non-existent. I came by your talk with the TBI coach and was just fascinated by your work and was wondering if there are any exercises/therapies you would recommend for my husband and could communicate through a distance. We're also having our first baby in the next week so I would love for my husband to be able to actually see him! Let me know your thoughts when you can.
