We have a very interesting question today and this is from a listener who has been diagnosed with a very serious condition called narrow-angle glaucoma. And she wants to know whether she can use my MSM eyedrops, even though she's got this condition. So a couple of things about narrow-angle glaucoma, it's a very serious type of glaucoma, there's an attempt anatomical impediment inside the eyes, which interferes with the aqueous flow and this can drive the eye pressure up rather quickly. And what's interesting about narrow-angle glaucoma is one of the causes can be using sulfa drugs now not sulfur sulfa drugs and there can be drug allergies from that. Now, what is some examples of sulfa drugs this could be the antibiotics family could be the diuretics family. Now another allergic reaction to narrow-angle glaucoma would be a whole body of what we call sulfites. And these are a group of chemicals. We find them in certain foods, things like vegetable juices, now this is all nonorganic, it could be GMO. So this is not what you find in your natural Co-Op. But these foods might contain the type of sulfites that we do have sauerkraut, olives, pickles, jams, grape juice, so this would be like if you go into the mainstream grocery store, you have a lot of these sulfites in these products. These can create an allergy and also trigger narrow-angle glaucoma. Now soft on the other side of the spectrum is a very important trace mineral that's found in the body and no one is allergic to sulfur by itself. In fact, some of the benefits of sulfur compounds You know, there's been research done on glucosamine sulfate, which is a type of sulfur molecule. And for MSM, MSM is inorganic, my MSM is an organic sulfur molecule, which at the very least is lubricating, moisturizing brightening. Now, when you take systemic MSM, it can actually boost collagen health, it's anti-inflammatory, it's very supportive for our joints. And so, bottom line is that MSM is perfectly safe to use if you have narrow-angle glaucoma. Now one of the ways I would begin introducing it would be to wet a soft cloth, take a couple of drops of the 5% only so we'd only use the 5% MSM, I wouldn't move to the 15% MSM, I put a couple of drops on a soft cloth, wet it, put it over your eyes with your eyes closed and lay down for five minutes with the compress. After you're done. Take it off, and notice how your eyes feel, and watch the reaction of your eyes for the next hour. See how you're doing. If that works, then you can actually do that compress twice a day we putting a few drops of the MSM on the washcloth, the wet washcloth over the eyes over the eyelids. So you're titrating the MSM into the eyes very gently. Now if you're taking glaucoma medication, I would wait 15 minutes before you do this type of treatment with MSM and you'll be perfectly fine there's not going to be any inte...
