Podcast 151: Q&A
The Berne Podcast with Dr. Sam Berne - Ein Podcast von Dr. Sam Berne - Holistic Eye Health

In this week's episode I answer two big questions: Question 1 from Sergio: “I have a question, I was diagnosed with lattice degeneration. I have small retina holes, mainly at the bottom of my eye. They have been treated with laser to strengthen the retina on my left eye so far, I go in a month to treat the right eye. The question is, can I still use 15% MSM drops to treat the floaters? Will the MSM drops weaken the retina? Or will it help the retina? What else do you recommend to help with my situation? I’m about to turn 40. I’ve had floaters since I can remember, but now they're more noticeable.” Q 2: "Five years ago I was diagnosed with binocular diplopia in three directions: bottom, left, and right (Two images separate horizontally). I started practicing eye exercises for one and a half years with the help of an optometrist and my double vision improved but was not completely cured. I met many ophthalmologists and endocrinologists but no one understood the reason for the disease. It wasn't until a few months ago that I was diagnosed with MG and my neuromuscular result showed “borderline neuromuscular dysfunction.” Now, my neurologist has prescribed 100 Mestinon tablets for 33 days as a trial therapy for the following month and if it fails, I really don’t know what to do because I want to avoid taking strong medications or having thymus surgery. I believe I have to heal myself and I just can’t expect doctors to do everything for me. Anyway, I just saw your website and I was thinking about doing your 90-day diplopia exercises. Do you have any recommendations?" Enjoy the show! If you want more, sign up for my newsletter at: www.drsamberne.com. I've got two questions that are really awesome and I'm going to go into some depth. Before I do that I want to announce my upcoming intensive course, if you suffer cataracts, and you don't want to do cataract surgery, this is a class that will teach you how to improve your lens health. There are so many things from a nutrition perspective, energetic medicine, plants and herbal remedies, and of course, my physical therapy exercises. They'll even be part of the course that if you do decide to do cataract surgery, I'll be able to guide you and navigate you through the maze of having a successful surgery and you know, cataract surgery is the most successful surgery there is I recommended it for my father when he was in his mid-80s. And he was able to continue to drive at night. So I'm not against surgery. I'm not against cataract surgery. But if you've just been diagnosed, and you want a protocol on how to reverse cataracts and improve lens health, this course is for you. It starts on September 11. It goes for two weeks. And if you want to sign up, you can go to my website www.drsamberne.com. Right now we're in the midst of our myopia course myopia and astigmatism. And people are getting really amazing results. They're unlocking their causes on why they became nearsighted to begin with why they developed astigmatism. And it's been a great course so far. We have one more session left this coming Saturday. I'm sure I'll be offering it again. I also make recommendations on how to navigate your reduced prescriptions with your eye doctor.
