Hey, everybody, it's Dr. Sam, I'd like to welcome you to another EyeClarity Podcast. I'm here in the Santa Fe National Forest. And I'm on a hike today, I thought I'd bring you along. So today's show, I'm going to take a question from a listener who's been following me and she's an entrepreneur. She's a health practitioner, she has started her own e-commerce. She's written a book. And she wants to know what my strategies have been in building my brand. So this is a little different question. But it is inspired, because I know many of you don't know this, but I am working for an organization now, all-volunteer, and the organization is called score. And this is a really fantastic group of retired business, people who help local businesses launch and get off the ground. And I actually was a client of theirs for about three years. And they were helping me with certain aspects of my brand and business. But one of the things they noticed was that I had a certain mastery in the area of brand building, especially in using social media. And so this colleague of mine who asked this question, I thought I would put it out on my podcast. And it was so funny, because when I first started, I did a Facebook live show. Nobody would come on, I had zero followers and zero people watching. So what I had to do is I had to take some questions that my patients would ask me, and I'd write them down. And I would answer them during the, the Facebook Live program. So it was pretty funny, but over time, and this was very slow, I started to get a few people watching Facebook Live, and I started to do Instagram Live. And I just began posting every day. And I would do four to five posts, some would be video, some would be pictures. And I observed over a period of about six months, that I was starting to get a little traction. And what I mean by traction is that I was starting to get some people who were interested in what I was saying. So we fast forward about five years later. And of course, things are going very well for me. And the organization score has employed me to talk to some of their clients on the value of social media, and how it can boost your business. Now there are those out there who would say oh, I want nothing to do with social media, their political issues, and they're, you know, all kinds of things going on. And I would agree with that. However, the way I see it is that I use social media to help educate people c...
