So this is a longtime listener, she's from Hawaii. And she's taking some of my classes when I used to teach there and she's reporting that she's getting ready to do cataract surgery. By the way, cataract surgery is the one surgery I recommend actually recommended for my father. He did my protocol for many years. And he started to develop cataracts in the 70s. And when he was in his mid-80s, he wanted to continue to drive at night. So I hooked him up with an ophthalmologist and he got the cataract surgery. And for the last four years of his life, he was really able to continue to drive at night. So I'm not against eye surgeries, and I'm not against cataract surgery. So in this particular case, sometimes you do need to get the surgery. Okay, so the question is, How soon after the surgery, can we use the MSM drops, and the cataract surgery is such where will it affect the lens of the eye. So, MSM, as you know, is an organic sulfur-containing nutrient. It's actually a naturally occurring compound in both in the environment and in our body, in fact, is the third leading trace mineral that's found in our body. Sulfur is necessary for the structure of every cell. Hormones, enzymes, antibodies, and antioxidants, all depend on this trace mineral sulfur. And because the body utilizes an expensive on a daily basis, sulfur must be continually replenished for optimal health and nutrition. In fact, MSM has been present in the oceans the soil in the atmosphere. It's collected by plants eaten by animals and is part of a great sulfur cycle, which all life depends on. So I guess you know where I'm going with this, because this is an organic inherent, very important ingredient in our body. Using MSM on the eyes, because of the metabolic need, that our eyes require that the sulfur molecule is so important at any stage of our eyes and vision. Now, after you've had the surgery, I would wait three days, go through the post-op, you may need to do the eye drops that the ophthalmologist recommends and let him check you after the surgery. Make sure he gives you clean bill of health. Usually, it's about a three-day window, then you can start using the MSM. Now what I suggest is using the 5% MSM eye drops, and the 15% MSM mist, so you're getting the mist on the outside part of the eye where the eyelids are and the MSM 5%. It's very mellow, very gentle, one drop in each eye or one drop, you know in the cataract eye and you can do up to four times a day. The software molecule in the MSM has absolutely no negative effect to the lens, the artificial implant that's put in the eye and the MSM drops can continue to lubricate, moisturize and make your eyes feel brighter, more relaxed, and so on. So,
