Manage Your Expectations With Your Diagnosis Final Audio
The Berne Podcast with Dr. Sam Berne - Ein Podcast von Dr. Sam Berne - Holistic Eye Health

There isn't a quick fix when it comes to treating the root of the problem in eye care. It takes time to fix something that's been developing for months or years. I treat the causative factors, not the symptoms, so my practices take work and patience, but it's worth it. Enjoy the show. If you want more, sign up for my newsletter at: www.drsamberne.com. It's Dr. Sam, I'd like to welcome you to another EyeClarity podcast. I am hiking in the Santa Fe National Forest. We're at about 9500 feet. And I want to take a question from a listener who is asking a question that I get asked a lot. And so there's a micro answer. And there's a macro answer. So the question is, can I use MSM eyedrops to treat my dry eye? And the answer to that is no. So the macro part of this is, I get so many questions from people, I have condition A, can I take pill B, to fix condition. And every time I send them a video blog that's on average, five to 10 minutes long. And I asked them to watch that video. Because it's going to list several causes, which you need to explore the causes of your condition. So that you are treating the causative factors and not the symptom. So, for example, when we talk about dry eye, and somebody says to me, well, will the MS M drops? Fix my dry eye? Absolutely not. And the reason is, is because they're probably systemic, metabolic, energetic, and functional reasons why your eyes are drying out. And to think that one eye drop, or one vitamin, is the answer. You're probably in the wrong community. You know, the other day, somebody kept asking me about dry eye. And she was asking the questions in a symptomatic way. So I finally wrote her and said, You know what, I think, I think based on your attitude, and your philosophy, you should start doing Restasis eye drops, which is an immune suppressant drop. And you should get the lip of flow, where they heat the eyelids, procedure. And both of these things will give you temporary relief. But my protocols take a long time. And you have to be willing to stay the course. I am neither a quick fix, or a cookbook. And I have to admit, the medical care has trained us to look for the magic bullet. And hey, if you're in a lot of pain, if you've got a lot of inflammation, if you're looking for immediate relief, then I highly recommend that you use the tools and the information that mainstream eyecare puts out. After all, they've been at it a long time. And they're very, very good at helping people relieve symptoms. Now, are there side effects from those? Absolutely. Is it going to treat the complete cause? No. Is it the final answer? Probably not. But this idea that well if I take a vitamin E supplement or MSM eyedrops that my problems are over. And, you know, there's a lot to be said about lifestyle. Stress Reduction. Sleep. 04:44 Do you love your work? How healthy are your relationships? What's your diet like? What's your inflammatory levels? Like?
