A fireside chat with Gresham House Energy Storage Fund

Energy storage lies at the heart of the energy transition and is a key technology necessary to achieve Net Zero. Storage can help address the intermittency of renewables on the grid and also support grid resilience. In early 2021, Britain recorded its highest prices ever in both the day ahead market and the Balancing Mechanism. This was caused by a combination of factors, including low wind, low temperatures and interconnector outages.
