EP97: David Vorhaus / White Noise

This week’s exciting Electronically Yours episode features a truly iconic figure in the history of electronic pop music, David Vorhaus. David started his career as an early member of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, where he met Delia Derbyshire. They went on to form White Noise, whose first album An Electric Storm was released at the peak of the psychedelic revolution in 1969 on Island Records. One if my top 3 all-time electronic albums, it still sounds like the future today… He has also designed his own instruments including the legendary Kaleidophon, and together with Mike Painter is about to release the latest White Noise album, Lightning Strikes Twice.
