After the popular Mid-Summer celebrations in Nordic countries, the summer spirits are still on going around every corners.  Last week the Helsinki pride 2023 took place in the Helsinki centers.  Around hundred thousand people gather together to cheer up the happiness for the freedom.  The pride events will continue around the world in the summer time.  Today DongXiNanPei shares with our listeners this interview made in 2021, a gay couple living in Copenhagen Denmark, Daniel Lu and Michael Danielsen.21 years ago, he was the student in Hawaii on the holiday trip back to his home country Taiwan. He met him in Taipei. In year 2005 they registered as a married couple under the Danish Registered partnerships Act, the first country to legalize gay marriage. Since then, they have lived in the happiest country in the world, Denmark. In their neighborhood, they can be themselves. In the parks and in the shops they can walk hand in hand just like the other ordinary couples. Daniel Lu the Taiwanese and Michael Danielsen the Danish are the happy couple because for them, the happiest country is where you can live with someone you love and you care with comfort and worry-free.
