It Happened One Night and Then We Talked About It

Today we are talking about the first romantic comedy released in 1934. It Happened One Night stars Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert and was directed by Frank Capra. It tells the story of a young runaway heiress joins the adventure of hopping on a bus headed from Florida to New York and ends up stuck with out-of-work newspaper writer Peter Warne.   Ellie Andrews: I'll stop a car, and I won't use my thumb! Peter Warne: What're you gonna do?
