Too many Cooks spoil Somerset's broth: Round 2 roundup with Sam Cook

County Cricket Natters - Ein Podcast von County Cricket Matters

It really is starting to feel like summer. A  Bank Holiday,  sunshine, games taking place on the Oval outfield, hundreds galore, and somewhere in the east, Ben Compton is still batting. In the top-tier there was a nail-biter at Taunton, Surrey crush Hampshire, Lancs do likewise to Kent. Just beneath them well, what a win for Glamorgan. Plus some honourable (and intriguing draws) elsewhere. Joining Dan, Annie and I this week is none other that Essex's Sam Cook (aka - albeit not in the dressing room - Little Chef). He talks us through the nerves (or lack of them) in their thrilling victory, bowling at Ben Compton, Hasan Azad, James Bracey, the need to give ground staff more time to prepare pitches and much, much more. As ever, thanks for listening.
