Names are important. Names matter. Names carry certain associations – some positive, some negative. We love getting autographs from famous people because their name attached to a specific object makes it that much more valuable and meaningful. If names are important here on earth, then how much more important is the name of God and the different titles ascribed to Him in the Bible.
