New Wine

In this passage, Jesus gives two illustrations to communicate one message – that He came to do something NEW. He didn’t come to patch up an old system, but He came to bring a New Covenant. Jesus doesn't want to patch up your old life or your bad habits, He wants to do a completely NEW work in your life. But just like the process of making new wine comes through a process of crushing and pressing grapes, sometimes the Lord may use pressing circumstances in our lives to bring about the "new wine" He desires for us.
