The quality of perseverance that all the best and most successful people throughout history have possessed stands out above all others. The road to success is long and twisting and paved with difficulties. Anyone with a different point of view is stupid, naive, and doomed to failure. There are many struggles in life that will make you think of giving up sometimes, but Joe shares how perseverance leads you to success and a better person. In the Brotherhood of Fatherhood episode, Scott Rammage is joined by Joe Wankelman, who served 17 years in the army as a Forward Observer and Apache Helicopter Pilot in Command/Maintenance Test Pilot. They talk about Joe's military experiences, marriage life, and how he became a better version of himself after his challenges.Joe did four tours in Iraq (04-05, 08-09, 2011) and Afghanistan (2014).
