In 2022, Kat was awarded a fellowship from the Alicia Patterson Foundation to cover caregiving and has been featured in Wired, Popular Science, Scientific American, Boston Globe, Audubon, and NPR. Kat discusses her experience with caregiving for her parents and how technology like robots helped in the caregiving relationship. Dr. Peters is then joined by Dr. Jeffrey Kaye, professor of neurology and biomedical engineering at Oregon Health and Science University, director of Layton Aging and Alzheimer's Disease Center, and director of the Oregon Center for Aging and Technology.
