But even though they launder millions of dollars, steal someone’s identity or even cause entire financial systems to crumble, we don’t associate them with murder. Neither does the FBI: They specifically classify white collar crimes as those that involve fraud - but NOT violence. But experts have identified a subgroup of white collar criminals - the ones who kill when their deception is uncovered. These are the red collar cases.
