After former police officer David Carrick was convicted for offences, including dozens of rapes, the Metropolitan Police began a review in January to root out unsuitable staff. It has found that hundreds of officer cases need further checking - the Met Police Commissioner, Sir Mark Rowley says the force can not succeed in its policing mission until changes are made.
