School catch-up plans: 'More will be required'

The government has announced a £1.4bn recovery plan to provide tutoring sessions to help school children in England catch up from the coronavirus pandemic. But critics claim the proposals don't go far enough, as the BBC has learned the Treasury rejected a more ambitious catch-up plan worth more than £10bn last week.
