Racism in cricket ‘endemic’, say MPs

The government should limit public funding for cricket unless there is "continuous, demonstrable progress" on eradicating "deep-seated racism", a parliamentary report has recommended. The report by the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee also praises the former Yorkshire player Azeem Rafiq, who spoke about the abuse he suffered in November.
