Pope: Climate talks must offer hope

Pope Francis has used Thought for the Day on the Today programme to urge world leaders at next week’s UN climate conference in Glasgow to respond to the environmental crisis and offer what he called “concrete hope to future generations”. Speaking from the Vatican, the Pope called for “radical decisions” in the wake of the pandemic and climate emergency.
